To develop quiet gears, BGI converts your vehicle into a sophisticated test platform. Special audio pickups placed in the vehicle's interior and load/speed data sensors from gear driven components in the entire drive train are used in conjunction with our proprietary SYNTECTM gear development software to compile and analyze the source and cause of gear noise. These tests are performed both on-road and in a dynamometer. The acquired data is used to optimize the hypoid gear set and if necessary, the surrounding components.

The complete prototyping program, from development to manufacturing and testing, can be effectively implemented in our facilities or we can perform the machining and testing of prototypes on-premise at the customer's facilities.
